One year of Holy Matrimony

A few weekends ago, we celebrated one (crazy) year of marriage!! We had a fabulous weekend at Chris' parents lake house at Lake Gaston. We had wonderful weather and sweet time together. It is crazy all that we have been through over the last year: a week-long honeymoon to Costa Rica, a Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas, several trips home, quitting our jobs, a month-long road trip through Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Vancouver Canada, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Utah, Chris' elk hunt, packing up our lives and moving East with our moms, moving in with the in-laws, a weekend to Cedar Point Ohio, biking the Virgina Creeper Trail, Thanksgiving in Morehead and then Kiawah, Christmas in Morehead and then Breckenridge Colorado!, me starting my job, my turn of a quarter-century (25th birthday) and Chris' 27th....that was a lot for the first year of marriage. Did I mention that Ben lived with us for our last 2 months in Wyoming and we have been living with Chris' parents for 6 months?!!!!!

We had a lot to celebrate!!! The next 50 years have a pretty tough first year to beat!!!
