Chris had a successful elk hunt during our last week in Wyoming while I packed up the house. Our moms flew out, helped load up the cars and trailer, and made the road trip back with us. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore, bought another new set of tires, upgraded the Hodges to iPhones, visited the birthplace of Grandma Shirley, and visited a few new states (for me at least) along the way.
We have thoroughly enjoyed settling back in Raleigh. It has been great to see family and friends and not have to leave the next day! Chris is helping a friend with landscaping through the end of November, and I am in the middle of job hunting (hopefully ending in the next week!). Since being back we have made another trip to Cedar Point and done the NC State Fair. A few weekends ago, we went with Chris' parents up to Abingdon, VA to ride bikes on the Virginia Creeper Trail. The leaves were gorgeous and in their prime! It was a wonderful weekend!!! This last weekend we went to the NC State football game, and actually got to see the Wolfpack win!!! Can't believe the holidays are so quickly approaching! Stay tuned for updates more often!
We suprised our moms with a "night on the town" in Pinedale. Brad, a man from our church, hooked us up with the limo!

Chris' 6 point elk! Good job C!

Chris had to walk the 17 miles out of hunting camp, to make room on the horses and mules to haul out the elk meat!
