A Happy Aunt Allie and little La La!

So last Wednesday I boarded a plane and headed back to the good ole' NC!!! After a long day of traveling, I made it into Raleigh, and was greeted by my mom and future mother-in-law!!! It was so nice to see them!! The next day, mom, Mrs. Hodges, and Chris' grandma Shirley and I went to The Bridal Boutique for my dress fitting! I was so nervous about it fitting, but it was perfect! Fit like a glove; I only had to have 3/4 of an inch taken off the bottom. I stayed in my dress for a few hours, while the moms looked for mother dresses....we had a ball!
After running some errands in Raleigh, mom and I headed to MHC! The next few days went by in a blur. Running wedding errands, getting invitations designed, go over registries, etc and spending what was left of the time with my wonderful family and friends, and of course a visit to the New York Deli in AB.
On Sunday, some of mine and my mom's close friends hosted a bridal shower for me. It was trully special!!! I opened a lot of wonderful gifts and got to see a lot of ladies from church and some of my closest friends.....it was great!!!! Sadly though, I had to leave right after that to head back to Raleigh for my early morning flight back to Wyoming. It was soooo hard to leave, ugghhh!!!
When I arrived back in Wyoming, I was greeted by the overwhelming presence of SNOW and COLD. It was freezing, I mean like 19 degrees that night!!! We had an out of the ordinary winter storm over that previous weekend. But, it all melted within a few days, but man, what a winter greeting, from returning from NC. But it was great to finally see my Christopher after about 5 days!!!
Overall, it was a productive and much needed time at home. It was so great to see my family and friends, and see that physical distance doesn't really change the love of family. Oh how I love them and miss them dearly!
Here are some pics of the bridal shower and all....sorry I can't include pictures of the dress fitting time, cause of course Christopher can't see that yet!!!!
